La Joconde Cakes

At our studio bakery in NW Portland, La Joconde will treat you to a delightful variety of delicious wedding cake samples while we discuss your custom cake design. To help you visualize your dream cake, we create a colored hand-drawn sketch incorporating your ideas and symbolizing your relationship. We will coordinate and work with your wedding planner, caterer and florist to ensure a professional and stress-free experience. La Joconde’s gourmet cakes are handcrafted from scratch at our studio bakery, using the finest natural ingredients, including Oregon hazelnuts, Pinot Noir and Chocolate Stout, locally roasted coffee and fresh seasonal fruit from local producers. We also use Swiss buttercream, a fluffy melt-in-your-mouth frosting made from creamy European- style butter and meringue for our delicious fillings and icings.
