Hey y’all! My name is Kalyn, also known as Kay. I am Texas State Alumni, dedicated evangelist, current austinite and a home-grown country gal. In my spare time I {kapture} treasured moments for those who want to get in front of my lens. Read on to learn more about my journey into the wonderful world of photography! The love for photography has always been in my heart, but I have only worked professionally for the past few years. Characteristics that describe my photography are candid, magical and bright. Natural light is most important to me, I believe it makes the photograph vibrant and pure. I am based in Austin, Texas and travel to surrounding areas for photo-shoots, events and weddings. Texas is filled with rivers, beautiful landscapes and the most amazing sunsets. As soon as my lens hits the sunlight, I’m in action! Every client has a different story and look they want to portray. It is my absolute goal to make my clients happy with their photographs, as well as make them feel comfortable in front of a camera. I not only take the pictures but also direct the model to help capture these wonderful moments.
