Venue Description

Cousiac Manor is known for its rustic, waterfront weddings and shabby chic events. Cousiac Manor is the perfect venue for any event including weddings, corporate events and special family celebrations. Located in the heart of historic New Kent County, the venue sits between Richmond and Williamsburg on the Pamunkey River. There are numerous wedding ceremony sites located on the grounds. Most of our brides choose near the bluff of the Pamunkey River overlooking Sauer's Marsh, while other brides have chosen under the 200 year old Magnolia trees for a true southern plantation ceremony. The grounds also include parking for guests. The newly built Rose Mallow Barn is just yards away from the shores of the Pamunkey River. The barn is 3,000 sqaure feet constructed with reclaimed wood from the cattle barns built on the farm during the 1940's and 50's. The Hechler House, the foundation dating back to the 1740's is just steps from Rose Mallow Barn. The house is currently under renovation and will be ready for bed and breakfast rental in Spring 2019. The house will accomodate wedding bridal party guests for the weekend of event.
