The Susquehanna Chef has been providing superior catering service to the Susquehanna Valley since 1995. Owners Ruth Kranig and Patrick Burnside have made The Barn at Boone’s Dam their home base of operations for the steadily growing company. The Barn was purchased in 2008 and the couple quickly went to work transforming the building which had recently been an art gallery into the premier catering facility that it has become. Located at 737 W Fort McClure Blvd in Bloomsburg, the property provides privacy and seclusion for its guests, but is only a few minutes away from hotels and downtown Bloomsburg. The Barn features a huge second story deck that wraps around half the building; it provides a wonderful space for guests during the warmer months. During the winter half the deck can become enclosed and heated providing additional guest space for events.
