Venue Description

Our historic property embodies the spirit of southern elegance with ancient white oak trees, sprawling white hydrangeas and rolling green grass. The Venue at Twin Oaks features a grand front porch, original hardwood pine floors and six marble fireplaces. The home has a newly renovated breathtaking bridal suite, three large entertaining rooms and a full catering kitchen. The Plantation Room stands ready to greet your guests with six sets of French doors, beautiful draping, vintage bulb string lighting and shiplap walls. The grassy courtyard is the perfect place for outdoor dining or lawn games beneath the cafe string lights, which lead to the barhouse. Twin Oaks is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, as it’s beginnings date back to 1853 and has many Civil War stories surrounding its rich history. The home served as a hospital during the battle of Humboldt in December of 1862.
