Carolina Home and Garden: A Magical Garden Coastal Wedding Venue
This venue is different than most! It is a retail garden shop/boutique by day, and a beautiful and quaint "hidden gem" venue by night. The tropical greenhouse is filled with amazing plants originated from different countries. They always have handmade farm tables set up with locally found driftwood, and lanterns placed on top of their farm tables. When you look up at the ceiling, you see grapevine and lights intertwined everywhere, it is magical to say the least!
Walking outside the greenhouse, you see the dance floor with bubble lights, and oak trees also strung with lights, setting the perfect vibe for dancing. They also have a flagstone patio with tables and chairs always set up where we do live music on Thursday evenings. In the middle of the patio is a koi pond with fish up to 2 feet in length, swimming underneath a beautiful fountain.
The environment has been called “magical” and “like heaven.” Carolina Home and Garden has a following of fans who have loved this nursery since their establishment in 1996. Their reputation is outstanding. “Everyone is always helpful, friendly and willing to lend a hand! Everything is wonderful.”
A bit on the history – When establishing what originated as a garden center, Brian and Stephanie Watson put their skills and talents together to create this unique family owned business! Brian had previous knowledge in custom landscaping and Stephanie had a talent of design with pottery and house plants. They just celebrated their 20th year in business in 2016! Their daughter, Logan, opened a boutique inside the building which has beautiful jewelry, leather goods, clothing, home decor and more. When Logan stepped into the business, back in 2015, she thought of doing events at the garden center. Now they are doing weddings, rehearsal dinners, birthdays and many other events!
It’s the perfect location for a unique and magical wedding on the Crystal Coast!
