Venue Description

The grounds of Lee Hall Mansion are available for rental from April through September. Evening rental fees are based on five (5) hours of use the grounds from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. The Historic Site staff makes every effort to accommodate our clients. However, given the historic nature of the building and grounds, specific guidelines are necessary for the preservation and security of the site. Built between 1851 and 1859, Lee Hall Mansion was home to affluent planter Richard Decauter Lee. One of the last remaining antebellum homes on the Virginia Peninsula, Lee Hall offers visitors a step back to the mid-Victorian period. Say your vows amidst a traditional boxwood ring with a lush field and foliage backdrop.A tent placed on the lawn makes for an elegant setting for a reception. Rental includes use of two indoor restroom facilities. The wedding party is responsible for all costs associated with the tent, table, and chair rental as well as for other equipment. The wedding party is free to select their own caterer and other vendors.
