The chapel on the top of the Theresa hill was built by Count Antal Grassalkovich in 1750 in honor of Maria Theresa and for her thanks. It has been largely ruined since World War II. Renovated in 2015 by the Count Degenfeld family, it is now a worthy stop on the Mary's Road through Tarcal. There is also a walking path from the hotel, which, together with its landscaped grounds, can be a unique venue for engagement, weddings, christenings and other events.
