About Taste of Douce In April 2013, I mixed one pound of dedication, two cups of time, and blended it all together with love to create Taste of Douce. Douce means Sweet Treats in Haitian-Creole. The name of this bakery was birthed from my Haitian ancestry. Since opening, my clientele has expanded beyond family and my tasty treats have been requested for birthday celebrations, baby showers, weddings, special events, and corporate functions. As a stay home wife and mother, baking cakes was merely a fun hobby for close friends and family. I put 100% into my craft and my hobby has become my passion! In addition to a variety of cake flavors, my catering menu also consists of gluten free, nut free, or dairy free desserts! From cakes, to cupcakes and more, let me make your next event a little sweeter!
