Venue Description

This beautiful Wilderness Lodge and year-round home is the definitive Alaska reality. Located on a privately owned, remote beach inside Alaska's Kachemak Bay State Park, midway between the villages of Seldovia and Halibut Cove, and only 10 miles by boat from Homer, Alaska, the “Bear Viewing Capital of the World.” (and also the gateway town for the Kenai Fords National Park, Lake Clark National Park, and Katmai National Park.) Sadie Cove is everything you have dreamed of and more. Custom built in the mid 1970's from driftwood that was milled by hand, piece by piece, into lumber by owner/artist Keith Iverson and accessible only by boat, float plane, or helicopter, Sadie Cove Wilderness Lodge offers the visitor a unique pportunity to participate in Alaska's wilderness lifestyle in a genuine, year-round, Alaskan home and lodge.
